Framing without glass
Top is a flush mounted watercolor, finished with Dorwand's wax. Bottom is also a watercolor with a black border. The border can be any acrylic color.
The new wave in framing mixed media and watercolor is to "glue" the paper substrate to a wood panel, or canvas, with acrylic medium, and then coat the painting with acrylic polyurethane, in the case of an acrylic, or wax, for a watercolor.
I will mount a painting so that it is ready to hang with a wood panel base for $25. Let me know in the notes with your order.
